Tour Día Completo (Parque Nacional Cotopaxi)

El tour al Parque Nacional Cotopaxi es una experiencia muy agradable, el día comienza con vistas espectaculares del paisaje andino muy característico de la “Avenida de los Volcanes”.

Dentro del Parque Nacional, después de nuestro registro realizaremos una visita al centro de interpretación, aquí encontraremos toda la información referente a la flora y fauna del lugar. La primera parada para aclimatar nuestros cuerpos es en la Laguna de Limpiopungo  a 4.000 msnm. (13.123 pies). Donde podremos observar aves endémicas, migratorias y flora silvestre; lugar muy favorable para los amantes de la fotografía. Después de esta visita nos dirigimos al refugio José Ribas a 4,810 m (15780 pies). Dependiendo de las condiciones climáticas caminaremos hasta 5,000 msnm (16404.2pies) donde es posible ver y tocar el glaciar.

Después de la actividad del ascenso, descansaremos y visitaremos restaurantes sugeridos por nuestros guías. Retornaremos a nuestros hoteles alrededor de las 18 pm.

Full Day Tour (Cotopaxi National Park)

Itinerary: Visit to the Cotopaxi Refuge

The tour to the Cotopaxi National Park is a very pleasant experience, the day begins with spectacular views of the very characteristic Andean landscape of the “Avenue of the Volcanoes”.

Inside the National Park, after our registration we will visit the interpretation center, here we will find all the information regarding the flora and fauna of the place. The first stop to acclimatize our bodies is at the Limpiopungo Lagoon at 4,000 meters above sea level. (13,123 feet). Where we can observe endemic and migratory birds and wild flora; Very favorable place for photography lovers. After this visit we headed to the José Ribas refuge at 4,810 m (15,780 ft). Depending on the weather conditions we will walk up to 5,000 meters above sea level (16404.2ft) where it is possible to see and touch the glacier.

After the ascent activity, we will rest and visit restaurants suggested by our guides. We will return to our hotels around 6 pm.

 

From Quito

• Pick up at 7 am in Plaza Foch.
