Tour día completo en bicicleta de montaña al Cotopaxi

Partimos de Quito hacia el Parque Nacional Cotopaxi temprano en la mañana, deteniéndonos brevemente en nuestra primera visita al Centro de Interpretación del Parque Nacional Cotopaxi donde encontraremos información sobre flora y fauna existente en el lugar.

El camino encontraremos un área lacustre llamada Laguna de Limpiopungo a 4.000 msnm. (13.123 pies) Donde observaremos el paisaje de los páramos del Parque Nacional , este humedal de verdadera importancia para la conservación de la avifauna es uno de los lugares predilectos para tomar fotos al coloso Cotopaxi en días despejados, aquí podremos  aves endémicas, migratorias y flora silvestre; excelente para realizar actividades de fotografía. Una vez aclimatados podremos hacer el ascenso al refugio José Rivas a 4,810 m (15,780 pies) desde donde empezará el descenso en bicicleta, una aventura de 8 km.  Hacia la laguna del Limpiopungo. Finalmente tomaremos nuestro almuerzo en un restaurante local de la zona y Retornaremos a nuestros hoteles alrededor de las 18:00pm.

Tour bike Cotopaxi

We leave Quito for the Cotopaxi National Park early in the morning, stopping probably on our first visit to the Cotopaxi National Park Interpretation Center where we will find information on flora and fauna existing in the place.

On the way we will find a lacustrine area called Laguna de Limpiopungo at 4,000 meters above sea level. (13,123 feet) Where we will observe the landscape of the páramos of the National Park, this wetland of true importance for the conservation of the avifauna is one of the favorite places to take photos of the Cotopaxi colossus on clear days, here we will be able to see endemic and migratory birds and flora wild; excellent for photography activities. Once acclimatized we will be able to make the ascent to the José Rivas refuge at 4,810 m (15,780 feet) from where the descent by bicycle will begin, an adventure of 8 km. Towards the Limpiopungo lagoon. Finally we will have our lunch at a local restaurant in the area and we will return to our hotels around 6:00 p.m.
